Today, September 1, 2026, the new CALLERLAB program lists take effect worldwide.
This is the milestone the Transitionary Implementation Phase of the Program Policy has been building toward since the membership approved the revised Program Policy Statement in May 2025. Beginning today, callers should teach from the new Mainstream and Plus lists.
One point deserves repeating, because it is the one we are asked about most often. Today is an implementation date, not a deadline for dancers. New calls have to be taught, and dancers need time to learn them, practice them, and become comfortable with them. CALLERLAB anticipates a transition period of approximately six months to one year, and callers are encouraged to exercise professional judgment throughout.
This is a transition, not a test.
